Curriculum Development Project Launch

DARPL Advocacy Network are seeking practitioners who are looking to co-create new and exciting resources through an anti-racist lens. You will be collaborating with other schools from across Wales to produce lesson plans, schemes of learning and events to take your anti-racist curriculum offer to the next level.

The project leads for this will be Kwame Boateng of the Black Curriculum author of Standpoint Epistemology and Anti-Racism in Further Education and the DARPL National Outreach Teacher, Leon Andrews.

Project aims:

• Develop a suite of engaging and authentic resources to be used in educational settings for pupils aged 3-19
• Support schools to develop cross-curricular schemes of learning through am anti-racist lens, in line with the new curriculum for Wales
• Facilitate collaborative event planning to ensure anti-racism is threaded throughout the pastoral curriculum offer of learning organisations in Wales
