DARPL Culture, Heritage and Sport (CHS) Roadshow 2026 – Cardiff

To support professionals in using the DARPL Culture, Heritage and Sport resources and case studies. This event provides opportunities for discussion and reflection on anti-racism in context leadership to consider Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic experiences through community engagement, culture, policy and practice and as part of your whole organisation approach. The event will provide an informal, open conversation space and support for positively contributing towards the Welsh Government’s Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan (ArWAP) and aspirations in community life for an Anti-Racist Wales 2030. This community of practice space provides Professional Learning opportunity within DARPL.

WELSH GOVERNMENT – AN ANTI-RACIST WALES ACTION PLAN  (ArWAP):

• develop appreciation and celebration of diversity, inclusivity, racial literacy and race equity with a focus on culture and heritage and to plan to cascade across whole organisation team/\community.

• ensure that provision, environment and ethos positively contribute to the anti-racist Wales initiative.

• Signpost to DARPL resources, Community of Practice and opportunities for collaboration and sustained development.
