DARPL Youth Work Roadshow 2026 – Cardiff

To support YouthWork sector professionals to effectively use the DARPL Youth Work Seed-Set resources and to invite vignettes and case studies to be co-created. This space will provide opportunity them to enhance learning and development in co-building and strengthening their anti-racist practice.

This event will provide opportunities for discussion and reflection on anti-racism in context leadership to consider Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic experiences through community engagement, culture, policy and practice and as part of whole community and organisation approaches.

The event will provide an informal, open conversation space and support for positively contributing towards Welsh Government’s Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan (ArWAP) and aspirations in community life for an Anti-Racist Wales 2030. This community of practice space provides professional learning opportunity within DARPL.

• Develop appreciation and celebration of diversity, inclusivity, racial literacy and race equity with a focus on culture and heritage and to plan to cascade across whole organisation team / community.

• Ensure that provision, environment and ethos positively contribute to the anti-racist Wales initiative.

* Signpost to DARPL resources, Community of Practice and opportunities for collaboration and sustained development

 * YouthWork professionals will be able to use DARPL resources to strengthen their anti-racist practice.

Target Audience:  Youth Work Leaders / Youth Work practitioners from across the sector as well as umbrella and grassroots organisations and educators which contribute to the YouthWork landscape through their work.
